Additional engraved title, woodcut illustrations (fore-margin of engraved title mostly cut away, occasional light browning or soiling, a few leaves very lightly waterstained, light spotting). 18th-century blue morocco gilt, large border encorporating floral motifs on sides, flat spine ruled and decorated gilt with central motif of a fountain in each compartment, inner fillets, silk endpapers, gilt and vellum endpapers (extremities a little rubbed, head of spine a little chipped). Provenance: A.A. RENOUARD, bound for him, with his name on front inner fillet -- John Fletcher (signature on blank, dated 1919 and bookplate).
