"An impressive Eiswein offered at a fraction of what these jewels generally sell for, the 2002 Riesling Eiswein Niersteiner Olberg bursts from the glass with smoky peach aromas. Passion fruit, canned peaches, and spices can be discerned in this big, jellied effort. This medium-bodied wine has admirable depth and purity as well as a lengthy finish that reveals some sweet/bitter notes reminiscent of candied grapefruit zests. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2035+."
