Ce totem fut élevé en 1892 en l'honneur du chef Kwakiutl Wahkus Owekano, dans la région de Rivers Inlet et sculpté par Willie Sewid. Une réplique exacte de ce totem fut placé dans le Stanley Park de Vancouver.
