A GEORGE III SILVER TEAPOT
MARK OF PAUL STORR, LONDON, 1814
Compressed spherical and on spreading foot, the shoulder with a band of trailing foliage, with a foliage decorated spout and an ivory handle, with an egg and dart border, the hinged cover engraved with initials below a royal Duke's coronet and with an ivory finial, engraved underneath with initials 'EA' over 'Fs', marked near handle and inside cover, the base further stamped '190'
8¼ in. (21 cm.) wide
gross weight 19 oz. (588 gr.)
The initials are those of Princess Sophia Augusta (1768-1840), sixth child and second daughter of King George III (1738-1820) and his wife Queen Charlotte, (1744-1818).

The initials EA Fs stand for "Ernst Augustus Fidekommis", meaning the entailed property of the Duke of Cumberland.
