Shaped circular and with a gadrooned rim, the border engraved with accolée coat-of-arms below a duke's coronet, each marked on the back, the backs further engraved with a number and a scratchweight 'No 1 78"0' and 'No 2 78"2'

The arms are those of Osborne quartering D'Arcy accolée with those of Anguish for Francis Osborne, 5th Duke of Leeds (1751-1799) who married first Lady Amelia D'Arcy (1754-1784), daughter and heir of Robert D'Arcy, 4th Earl of Holdernesse, and Mary Doublet, Countess of Mertola (d. 1801). They had two sons and a daughter, but the marriage ended in scandal in December 1778 when the Marchioness ran off with Captain Jack Byron (d. 1791), father by a subsequent marriage of the poet Byron. After obtaining a divorce in 1779 Osborne married secondly Catherine (1764-1837), daughter of Thomas Anguish and Sarah Henley. (2)
