Each with upswept foliate-cast tapering backplate issuing reeded scrolled branches with star-shaped drip-pans and nozzles, numbered '5', '6', '7' and '8', respectively

Lot Essay

Two sets of four tôle peinte and parcel-gilt wall lights with related palm-carved back-plates, stamped 'JANSEN' and supplied by Pierre Delbée of Maison Jansen, circa 1965, were sold anonymously [Boulle to Jansen: An Important Private European Collection], Christie's London, 11-12 June 2003, lots 106-107 (£13,145 & £11,950).
