The eared rectangular cornice above and acanthus-carved frieze an rectangular panels carved with vine-tied ears of corn flanked by figural masks and centring on a scrolling foliate carved panel surrounding a shield dated 1621, supported by figures emblematic of love and hope, the panelled back carved with three sceneries, the top middle tier inlaid with strapwork and above two drawers carved with scrolling foliage, strapwork and griffins flanking a grotesk's mask, supported by foliate carved balusters to the lower tier inlaid with further strapwork, on bracket feet carved with lion-masks
