VERY RARE, 18K GOLD AND ENAMEL QUARTER REPEATING AUTOMATON KEY-WOUND POCKET WATCH WITH APPEARING AND DISAPPEARING WIZARD JACQUEMART, MADE FOR THE CHINESE MARKET

Full plate gilt-finished verge movement, chain fusée, engraved and pierced cock, plain three-arm balance, quarter repeating on two gongs, the muliticoloured enamel dial with vari-coloured gold balcony scene, to the right a hanging bell, when the repeating mechanism is activated a Wizard appears from the left moves across the balcony and realistically strikes the bell, once the repeating is finished the Wizard then moves back and disappears behind the wall, below is a small white enamel dial for the time with Arabic numerals, flanked by two corinthian columns, in plain case with ribbed band, quarter repeating mechanism activated through the pendant, cuvette signed and numbered, case stamped CL and additional numbered 1325 9352
