Early 19th Century
Gilt with a continuous band of classical figures reserved on a mottled brown glazed ground, the lower section gilt with a geometric band, the foot with leaves and pendent flowerheads, the interior gilt with a cracked ice pattern, the square stand with circular well and large aperture, inscribed to one side in gilding An Olimpic Game a Sparta
