With double richly-gilt loop handles issuing from female masks, the spirally-moulded cover above a gilt band of key-pattern and anthemion, the acanthus and flower-moulded body decorated in a lustrous brown to simulate bronze, supported on a spirally-moulded foot and square base painted in shades of ochre, red and manganese to simulate marble
