A fine scale model of Carnival Cruise Lines S.S. Fantasy
Maritime Replicas; circa 1991
the full hull, formed in brass, and painted with a deep red bottom, blue waterline and white topsides which are detailed with bow bulb, bow thrusters, propellers, skeg and rudders, and drilled and pierced with portholes, windows and other details. The decks are laid paper with the planking lines printed and sealed. Other details include: forward watch station, cargo booms, radar, built up superstructures including bridge and bridge wings, mainmast with radar and communications array, skylights, shuffle board courts, pools, life boats on davits, deck lights, railings, funnel painted in Carnival Lines livery, rigging and other details. Displayed on four turned brass pedestals on an oak board with a plexiglass cover.
