A sterling silver horn presented to jazz great Louis Armstrong as a gift; the manufacturer's engraving on the bell reads "T. Harper's Improved/1851/1862/Kohler & Son/Makers/116 Victoria Street/Westminster/London/No. 190," as well as a faint amateur inscription below reading "To Louis the King/& Alpha/From/C.W. Norris Max Norris/In Gratitude/3/7/32." Louis Armstrong gifted this horn to his then manager, Johnny Collins. Included are many rare vintage print black and white publicity photographs of Armstrong circa 1930 from the collection of Johnny Collins. 25in.
