MARK OF STEPHEN BERGIN, DUBLIN, 1819
Circular, part-fluted, small engraved crest, gadroon rims and laurel border around foot, bifurcated acanthus handles; together with an early Victorian sugar bowl of good gauge, by J.C. Edington, London, 1839, on leafy scroll feet, bifurcated handles terminating in leaves and with melon-fluted sides and reeded rim; a Cape pattern teapot with gadroon border and acanthus decoration on top of spout, by Emes & Barnard, London, 1825; also a compressed circular teapot heavily chased with flowers and fish-scale decoration, by Michael Starkey, London, 1827
