Lot Essay

Cooper is a self-taught artist who began specialising in collage in 1963. The following year he won first prize at the International Exhibition of Artists. He has exhibited widley, including the Royal Academy, N.E.A.C. and in New York. He was artist chairman of the R.W.A. in the 1990s.
