A FRENCH SILVER CAFETIERE OF OVOID FORM
MARK OF JEROME-FRANCOIS PERRIER, PARIS, FIRST STANDARD, 1798-1809
With waisted neck on three hoof supports and anthemion border -- 8 5/8 in. (22 cm.) high; also a ewer-shaped cream jug by Jean-Charles Cahier, Paris, First Standard, 1798/1809, the front engraved with an armorial flanked by blackamoor and peacock supports beneath motto scroll -- 6¾ in. (17.2 cm.) high; and a small hot milk jug, mark of Sixte-Simon Riom, Paris, First Standard, 1809/1819, of baluster form with fluted spout -- 5 in. (12.1 cm.) high (3)
