Two full-length robes, one of pale blue silk with short sleeves, decorated overall with a peacock pattern, with lilac satin trim to collar and sleeves and pink satin belt; the other of pale green chiffon with flared elbow-length sleeves, with mint green satin trim to collar and front opening -- made for Madonna as Eva Peron in the 1996 film Evita (2)

Lot Essay

Similar robes are seen in the film - the lilac robe is worn near the start of the film as a young Eva Duarte who has arrived in the big city and is becoming aquainted with gentlemen in the entertainment industry. The green chiffon robe is worn in the scene when Eva is brought home from hospital and is recuperating in bed.
