Engraved hand-coloured map (253 x 447 mm.), watermark fleur-de-lis and countermark 'THOMAS/EN/...', wide margins. The map covers the whole of Djakarta within the town walls and some upstream development, principal places and sites of interest noted and named, with key explaining changes to Djakarta between 1731 and 1750, in French and Dutch, compass rose. (With the usual vertical and horizontal folds, unobtrusive staining, some light foxing.) And Batavia. N.p.: [late Eighteenth Century]. Italian engraved hand-coloured map covering the whole of Djakarta, monogram 'IHS' in decorative cartouche. And J.N. A Mapp of Batavia with all its Forts. N.p.: [eighteenth century]. Engraved hand-coloured map of Djakarta and its environs, including field boundaries, decorative figurativ frieze across the whole lower section of the map. (3)
