The bowl with foliate rim, delicately painted to the exterior in coloured enamels with a variety of figures, young and old men, beautiful ladies and boys within fenced gardens and scattered amongst flowering chrysanthemum, peony, prunus and magnolia branches, surrounded by a gilt ground, the cover similarly decorated, both with turquoise enamelled interior and base
