Elstrak, folding woodcut plate of a horse with the sites of specific diseases and injuries, text illustrations including 3 full-page cuts of a horse and page showing 'The Farriers chief Instruments' (folding plate with closed tears repaired on verso, full-page woodcut on X1r slightly cropped, Ee3 with paper fault at bottom margin, Ff1 holed with loss of several words, corner of Ff2 torn away with partial loss of catch-word and slight affect on a few characters, Ii4 with small paper fault over two lines, light browning and a few marginal stains), modern calf.

This edition also included 'An Appendix containing the Exact Receipts for curing all Diseases in ... Cattle' and 'The Compleat Jockey'. The attractive frontispiece was first used in the second edition of 1615. Poynter 20.14; Wing M665.
