Martin's Sportsman's Almanack, Kalendar, and Traveller's Guide, for 1818. London: W. Smith for Simpkin and Marshall, 1818. 12°, engraved list of maps, hand-coloured engraved map of Britain, and 42 hand-coloured county maps by James Wallis, one folding, engraved cash account and memoranda leaves (duty stamp on title), contemporary straight-grained brown morocco, upper cover titled and dated in gilt, flat spine with repeated bird and fish tools, marbled edges and endpapers (rebacked, old spine relaid, covers rubbed and bumped). Provenance: Basil T. Fanshawe, Bratton, Fleming, North Devon (bookplate).

The maps, published by Martin, had first appeared in James Wallis's New Pocket Edition of the English Counties or Traveller's Companion, 1810. Kingsley 71 iii; cf. Chubb CCCXLIV.
