Crealock, illustrations, original green pictorial cloth gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut (rebacked in modern blue morocco gilt, rubbed and scuffed, a few stains). Provenance: "Captain J. Cookson from W. Reginald Cookson, July 1893" (inscription on front free endpaper).

N0. 62 OF 255 COPIES, published the year after the author's death and edited by his brother. Henry Hope Crealock was an accomplished draughtsman who also left valuable records of the Indian mutiny, China campaign and Anglo-Zulu war.
