Special notice

Christie’s charges a premium to the buyer on the Hammer Price of each lot sold at the following rates: 29.75% of the Hammer Price of each lot up to and including €20,000, plus 23.8% of the Hammer Price between €20,001 and €800.000, plus 14.28% of any amount in excess of €800.000. The letter from Anna Wagner reads:

Den Haag, 4 juni 1982
Geachte Heer,
Hartelijk dank voor Uw schrijven van 21 mei j.l. waarin U mij mede
deelde in 't bezit te zijn van een schetsboekje van Isaac Israels, dat gefotografeerd is door het Rijksbureau van Kunsthistorische
Documentatie.
Ik ben naar de foto's gaan kijken. De tekeningen komen over het
algemeen overeen met die welke ik uit andere schetsboekjes uit die
zelfde tijd ken. Ik heb namelijk alle schetsboeken van de grote musea
doorgewerkt in der tijd.
Het schetsboekje is te dateren op eind 1891.
Inmiddels dank ik U nogmaals vriendelijk voor Uw medewerking.
