The straps of the crown embossed with leaves and flowers around bead-edged navette panels, the base similarly embossed with flowers and scrolling foliage, and between alternate straps, a cut-out Star of David mounted on curved spiral-twist supports, the top with three small gilt bells dependent and a larger bell dependent within the interior, inscribed in Hebrew on a panel to front and base and with further inscriptions
