Edo period (19th century), signed Kajikawa saku and with red jar seal
Designed in gold and silver takamaki-e and hiramaki-e, hirame and kinpun with farmhouses in hilly landscapes by a rushing stream, the interior cases nashiji; with a metal oval cylindrical ojime and a lacquer netsuke with a Rinpa-style design of pine trees and rocks in simulated pewter and ceramic inlays
