A large lecture-tour poster, printed in red and black, and incorporating a half-tone portrait of Shackleton, [Burton-on-Trent: 1913], announcing 'Immense Attraction. Town Hall, Burton-on-Trent The Burton-on-Trent Municipal Officers' Guild has arranged with the Lecture Agency, Ltd., of London, for Sir Ernest Shackleton C.V.O., F.R.G.S. to give his lecture entitled: "The South Pole" Thursday, Nov. 21 at 8 In addition to giving a popular account of his own South Polar Expedition, Sir Ernest will describe and explain the Expeditions under Capt. Scott and Capt. Amundsen. The Lecture will be fully illustrated from Photographs and some very striking Kinematograph Films taken during the Expedition ... Reserved Seats, 3/- ...
