MARK OF PIERRE VALLIERES, PARIS, FIRST STANDARD, 1798/1809
With leaf-embellished scroll handle, on detachable oval stand with four supports -- 8 5/8 in. (22 cm.) high; another silver sauceboat on stand, mark of C. P. Vahland, Paris, First Standard, 1809/19, with loop handle, the detachable conforming stand with four ball feet -- 7¾ in. (19.7 cm.) high; a pair of silver circular second course dishes, maker's mark indistinct of ?B with a device between, Paris, First Standard, 1809/19, with moulded rope-work rim -- 10¾ in. (27.4 cm.) diameter; and an electroplated oval dish -- 19 in. (48.5 cm.) long; all engraved with monograms
