A pair of unusual Transitional blue and white ovoid jars,
mid 17th Century
The tapering sides divided by three panels of pairs of women standing either side of a jardinière placed on a low table, separated by strapwork and ruyi-head borders, the shoulders applied with small animal-mask loop handles, below a row of stylized flames encircling the cylindrical neck (one side cracked, one with rim cracks)
