Lot Essay

A faithful rendering of a 1937 D-45, these guitars are constructed with Brazilian rosewood back and sides and a top of Adirondack spruce with forward scalloped bracing. They were produced as a limited edition of 167 from 2000 to 2004, of which this is a prototype.
