Lot Essay

With a neck and peghead inspired by the Viennese master, Johann Stauffer these guitars paid tribute to the 200 year anniversary of the birth of Christian Frederick Martin. The back and sides are of Brazilian rosewood and the top is braced for steel strings. The guitar was introduced in 1997 with a limited edition of 25.
