The circular domed lid surmounted by a figure of Hebe and her eagle, decorated with seated allegorical figures and satyrs, over a foliate-painted rim and putto-cast frieze, above a bulbous cup painted with Neptune's hippocampus-drawn chariot, Nereids astride dolphins and cloud-borne putti, supported by a baluster stem and domed foot decorated with a Bacchanalia scene, with indistinguishable maker's mark and Austrian control marks
