bubble level to top of telescope, which preserves the original dust-caps, signed on cross-bar J.R. Brown MAKER, the arc with outer scale [50°]-0°-[45°] punched numbers every 10°, divided to ¼° with vernier (loose) to minute of arc, the inner non-linear scale 100-0-100 numbered by 10 divided to 1, with index pointer on vernier, supported on two brass triangular columns; the circle with 32-point compass rose and outer degree scale (missing glass), two bubble levels, outer scale 0°-180° numbered by 10° divided to ¼° with two verniers to minute of arc, one vernier with fine adjust the other with (broken) magnifying lens, the inner non-linear scale 0-100-0-100-0-100-0-100-0, screwed to wooden stand.
