China: Qianlong period (1736-1795) [but c.1920s]. 4 lithographic reprints of woodcut hanging scroll maps of China on laid paper, 890 x 275mm each. (Minor tear to upper section of 2 maps.)

RARE REPRINT of maps originally made for administrative use, illustrating the Great Wall, major rivers, provinces and prefectures in China. Based on traditional Chinese stylized maps showing the sea to the east and south, and the Great Wall to the north. (4)
