A fascinating and personnel glimpse into the life and work of India's most famous poet Rabindranath Tagore, captured by the photographer Shri Shambhu Shah. Tagore is seen here in the daily round of life, reading, writing and painting and attending as the central figure in ceremonies and festivals whilst also welcoming and holding prayers with the many distinguished guests that visited the ashram at Santiniketan.
