UNMARKED, CIRCA 1716
Containing The Book of Common Prayer, published by the University of Oxford and dated 1716, the inside cover with a stuck-down bookplate for Ivor A.B. Ferguson (1874 - 1938), the pinned-on silver mounts of acanthus leaf and trefoil form centred by an oval cartouche, the front engraved with the arms of Ferguson, the back with vacant cartouche, the inside of the clasps later engraved with a motto ribbon and inscription
