Of rectangular outline, the guilloché 18k gold case designed as an envelope, centering upon an oval-cut sapphire, weighing approximately 9.12 carats, within a single-cut diamond stylized flower frame resembling a wax seal, the single-cut diamond pushpiece opening to reveal a fitted mirror, two lidded powder compartments, a lipstick holder and a money clip, mounted in 18k gold and platinum, 1951, 5¾ x 3¾ x ¾ ins., with French assay marks and maker's marks, in a Cartier red leather fitted case
