TEHRAN, NORTH IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
Moulded and painted in polychrome, the royal blue field with hunting scene comprising six men on horseback carrying weapons surrounded by various animals and foliage, a row of buildings on the horizon, with border containing several delicately drawn registers of dots, scrolling arabesques and star-shapes, minor chips to rim, otherwise intact
21 5/8in. (54.9cm.) diam.
