The single-edged steel blade with flat spine, the top of the blade with gold damascened arabesques, the collar with engraved floral vine, the dark green jade hilt with inset coral at the top, the repoussé silver sheath worked with a pattern of scrolling flowering vine, with makara head finial and applied diamond inset panel on one side
