Modeled in the round as three young couples about a tree, one pair holding a watch and playing with the thread of life, one pair catching love birds and one pair modeled after Boucher with a young man happening upon a sleeping maiden, on a circular gilt enriched base molded with a band of entrelac and floral medallions
