Shaped oval, the platter with shell handles, the mazarine with pierced diaperwork pattern and chased with a lobster, with shell handles, the domed cover with grape, shell and addorsed fish finial, no. 335C, the base of platter, interior of cover and bezel of mazarine engraved J.P.R., marked on reverse of platter
