CIRCA 1725-28, THE AUGSBURG DECORATION ALMOST CONTEMPORARY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK
Painted in underglaze blue with insects among flowers and grasses and gilt in the Seuter workshop with further foliage on a matt-gilt band between burnished gilt sections, the cover with similar ornament about a flowerhead, pot with small restored rim chips and a further chip to rim, minute chipping to paw feet, some minute areas of wear to gilding
