TWO CHINESE EXPORT EUROPEAN SUBJECT PLATES AND A SOUP-PLATE
QIANLONG (1736-95)
Comprising: a soup-plate and a plate, each decorated in polychrome in the Meissen style with huntsmen within landscapes before turreted buildings, within a spearhead well and scroll work border, and a dinner-plate painted en grisaille with a bust of a Martin Luther within an acanthus roundel flanked by two putti attendants surmounting Christ flanked by the Twelve Apostles within an oval scroll cartouche and a border of continuous scrolls and acanthus, minor rim chipping and some wear to enamels
