PROBABLY SWISS, LATE 19TH CENTURY IN THE 17TH CENTURY STYLE
Shaped oval with lobed sides, the centre engraved with a scene of William Tell, the cast handle in the form of a winged putto -- 8¾ in. (22.3 cm.) long including handle; together with another similar, the centre prick-dot engraved with a scene of a farmer plowing a field, the two cast handles in the form of winged putti -- 11 1/8 in. (28.2 cm.) long handle-to-handle
