A BLUE AND WHITE BALUSTER VASE, KANGXI (1662-1722) OR LATER
painted all around the body in vibrant shades of cobalt blue with a mountainous riverscape, two figures in conversation on a riverbank, a fisherman in his boat on the river, and retreats nestling amongst craggy mountains, the neck with bands of squared whorls, classic scroll and ruyi heads, incised three-character inscription -- 17½ in. (44.5 cm.) high
