AN INGOT-SHAPED DISH, JIAQING MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
the shallow vessel modelled with raised sloping ends, decorated on the exterior in gilt on an iron-red ground with two bats amongsts scrolling lotus and shou medallions, the interior and underside under a pale turquoise glaze, iron-red six-character seal mark to base -- 5½ in. (14.3 cm.) wide
