FIVE IVORY SNUFF BOTTLES, 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY
comprising a carved ivory bottle depicting two boys variously holding a large lotus leaf and smoking censer attracting bats above them, a three legged toad to their feet, the reverse side carved as the underside of a lotus leaf; a quatrefoil formed bottle incised with lines of calligraphy; and three stained ivory bottles -- 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high max. all with stoppers. (5)
