A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE BOWLS, COVERS AND STANDS, JIAQING (1796-1820)
each brightly and finely enamelled, the bowls with gilt foliate rims decorated with female Immortals and attendants outside a pavilion and a male Immortal and attendant in a tree-trunk raft, the stands with similar rims and similar female figures, three within a pavilion and three in the garden, and the domed covers with figures, numerous birds and an oxen, all with turquoise interiors and undersides, each piece with iron-red Jiang Zheng long zhi (made by Jiang Zhenglong) marks -- stands 5 3/8 in. (13.7 cm.) diam. (2)
