A hanging scroll, after Lien Mei (1677-after 1742), late 18th/early 19th century
in ink and colours on silk, depicting Shoulao with his staff, crane and deer offering a peach to two bearded scholars standing before a pine tree, one scholar holding a small boy, two further boys playing in the foreground -- 30in. x 20in. (76.2cm. x 50.7cm.), with signature, sealed.
