A painting, after Zhao Mengfu (1254-1322), 19th century
painted in ink and colours on silk, with a lady wearing flowing robes and a fur hat, standing on the banks of a river holding the reins of a grey horse grazing beside her, the lady also holding a bunch of peonies in her hand -- 44in. x 26¼in. (111.8cm. x 66.7cm.), with additional inscription after Wu Kuan (1435-1504), with signature, sealed, framed and glazed.
