A BLANC DE CHINE BUDDHIST SHRINE, KANGXI, CIRCA 1690
shaped as a grotto, enclosing at the top a seated Guanyin with two standing attendants to her sides, above the Eighteen Lohans with their various attributes, covered overall with a white crackled glaze, painted black Dresden Palace mark N=580 to interior -- 8¼in. (20.9 cm.) high.
