CIRCA 1778, BLUE CROWNED CT MARKS AND VARIOUS BLUE AND INCISED MARKS, JUGS WITH BLUE 78 MARKS FOR 1778, SAUCER WITH 77 FOR 1777 AND BOX WITH INDISTINCT BLUE NUMERAL
Painted in iron-red with Orientals at various pursuits beside trees and shrubs in exotic landscapes below gilt borders, comprising: a pear-shaped jug with a scroll handle and bird's head spout, on three scroll feet and with a flat cover; a circular sugar-box and a domed cover, a squat baluster milk-jug on three scroll feet, and a saucer (slight wear to gilding, pear-shaped jug with minute rim chip, finial a gilt-metal replacement, gilt rim of saucer worn)
